Gravel Sportive, Long Route, 19th April – 88km
Start Time for Long Route is 9.00am
The Long Route for our Gravel Sportive is 88km and includes a good mixture of gravel trails through the Wye Valley and Forest of Dean, some bridleways and some on road sections.
It includes 1670m of climbing, and is suitable for riders who are happy to be on the bike for 5 hours or more.
We will have two feed stations on the route, so you can rest assured that you will have plenty to eat and drink as you tackle this fabulous course.
We recommend that you carry two spare inner tubes, tyre levers, pump and a puncture repair kit. It is not uncommon for riders to suffer punctures during sportive events. Ideally you should also carry a lightweight folding multi tool, available through any good cycle store.
Although feed stations en route will be well stocked with energy drinks, water and food, please consider taking energy gels or food of your own and at least one water bottle on your bike.
What’s included?
Long Route riders will have the following included in the entry fee:
- Early start time to allow plenty of time to complete the ride

- GPS download of route available
- 2 Fully stocked feed stations
